OPEN HOUSE:
Sunday, September 1st, 2024, at 1pm-4pm

Registration is OPEN NOW online and will be open at the Open House between 2-4pm.

Level 1 (Online via ZOOM, though possibly In-Person)
$150/trimester (6-7 weeks each) includes pdf notebooks and articles to read.
There are 3 parts (thus trimesters) for a total of $450.
Tuesdays 6-9pm starting September 10th

Level 2 (Online via ZOOM & In-Person)
*must have completed level 1 program or the level 1 exemption exam*
$150/semester (6 weeks each, total 6 semesters).
Some readings provided, but students are responsible for their own supplies.
Sundays 3-6pm starting September 15th 

Level 3 (Online with a weekend intensive)
*must have completed level 2 program or the level 2 exemption exam*
$150/semester (6 weeks each, total 6 semesters).
Some readings provided, but students are responsible for their own supplies.
Sundays 10am-1pm starting September 15th

Level 4 Warriors Path (In Person)
*must have completed level 3 energy work or proof of equivalent*
$30/1hr-class (number of classes depends on how much gets covered in a each class)
Lots of independent study with in-person discussion and energy work.
Time and Day will vary according to student & teacher mutual availability.

Summer Workshops in the Park or the BACKYARD!

As we get closer to a new school year, we are trying to get everyone back on track and ready to tackle the challenges ahead. We will be hosting Workshops in the Park on several of the Saturdays or Sundays (weather permitting). Here are the dates, workshop names, and the link to the first workshop.

Montreal ComicCon July 2024

Beltain Spring Pop-up Fair

April 27th, 2024
11am - 5pm

(Location: Thesaurus Therrarium, 383 de l'Eglise, Verdun)

Entry is free (Donations accepted and will help us continue putting on events like this.)

 

THEME: Just Be ZEN

 

Usually, Beltain Spring Fair is an annual event that features a small conference of 3-5 speakers, an outdoor Beltaine ritual in the park, and approximately 20 local artisan vendors. It happens the last Saturday of April (sometimes May 1st) and is a great place and time to get ready for spring with your friends and family... or even just for yourself.

 

This year, while we look for better accommodations, we will host a tiny pop-up in an accessible location. As we will be smaller, there will be a max of 6-8 vendors and 1 speaker or entertainer. There will be no ritual for 2024.

 

We love cosplay! Dress up for this fair and have fun with us!

 

SCHEDULE:

10:00am - OPEN for vendor setup

11:00am - OPEN to public

1:30pm - speaker/entertainer

3:30pm - Children's Reading Corner (hosted by Summer Jory)
5:00pm - CLOSED to the public, vendor packup begins

Ostara Public Ritual

Date: Tuesday, March 19th

Time: 6-10pm

Location: Centre Communautaire Marcel Giroux (4501 Bannantyne, Verdun)

What does the springtime, the Norse Goddess Idunn, and delicious apples have in common? Welcome everyone to our Ostara ritual!

 

As the equinox approaches, we gather to celebrate the coming of spring, the fertile ground for new projects and ambitions, and the hope for a productive and joyful time ahead!

 

The ritual will consist of a presentative dance between two pagans, a reading from one of our hosts, and the handing out of apples to participants in celebration of Idunn. Afterwards, we will eat the food brought for the potluck, and mingle until we have to leave the venue.

 

The event is open to anyone, but we ask that you bring $5 (or more if you wish) to contribute to the cost for renting the space, as well as any food you'd like to share for our potluck.

 

We will be situated in room 115 (Le Pavillon). Since the space accommodates 48 people, we ask that you click "Going" on the event page if you're sure you will attend. This way we can gauge how many people to expect and how much space is left for other participants.

February Full Moon

Saturday, February 24th at 3pm

At Thesaurus Therrarium (383 Rue de l'Église, Verdun, QC H4G 2M5)

There will be a small workshop on making blessing water for the Full Moon. February is the Snow Moon. It is also the Celtic Willow Moon. The focus is on spiritual healing and caring for hearth, home, and family during a time of the most snow of the winter season.

You must RSVP for this as there are only 7 places available.

Prepay this event $5 to cover the cost of supplies and secure your place. Contact the school via facebook to arrange your RSVP.

Please note that because we are holding this in the teahouse, you need to make a purchase of tea and some kind of treat as well when you are there.
