Renovations, Rebranding, & Evolutions

This Fall 2026, CMS is taking a major shift. 

It had adjusted the name to Atelier Crescent Moon (but will always have the love of CMS for Crescent Moon School). Part of the reasoning is search engine issues with a technical program also called CMS. We love the new name as it helps with the French language concerns somewhat, which is necessary for where we are homebased in Quebec, Canada.

We will not take students this Fall as we also will re-evaluate the classes and teaching structures. Nothing will change for current students already working their way through the program. New students in the New sessions of 2027 will start in the new program. More details to come on this later.

We are also adjusting our focus to now include the crafty and creative side of teachers and students. Art, inks, magical tools, and more will start to show up. Honestly, if you have followed the Facebook Page or found us at events like Scriven or Montreal ComicCon over the last few years, then you already know this. Again, more to come.

TEASER:

*First... go watch the anime Witch Hat Atelier! It has inspired so much and re-ignited the love of magical writing*

We now have an exclusive ink called Atelier Medium. Eventually, Atelier Dark and Atelier Light will join the collection. This is the blue line of inks on our color theme.

If you are at the Greenwood Harvest Festival (on Meri's land on Saturday, September 19th), then this ink will be available for sale there. Otherwise, you can find it at Montreal's Anime Fest (September 26th).

Blue Moons and Magical Writing

 Saturday, May 30th, 2026 will be a Full BLUE Moon. In the Celtic Calendar, this would end up as the Holly Moon. For everyone else, it is the SECOND Full moon in a calendrical month, making it a BLUE Moon.

 

No, the moon will not appear blue. Sadly. But it is an uncommon occurrence (once in a blue moon).

This is a magical and powerful time of external change and goal setting. CMS will be at an few events this year showcasing its magical wares and focusing more on magical writing and magical writing tools.

Montreal ComicCon

I will be at BOOTH #1706 for the whole weekend of Montreal ComicCon. So many Magical Arts & Crafts, supplies, and divination. Come find us and say hello to me and my students!

Ending Soon... SUmmer starting...

All our current courses are coming to a close over the coming weeks (ending at the end of June 2025). It has been absolutely amazing! Will there be summer activities? When will there be a new session? All good questions.

What does the summer 2025 look like so far?

Level 1 Spring 2025 Session

There is still room to register for our Level 1 session. Classes begin Sunday evening on January 26th and will run Sundays through to the end of June.

This is a great opportunity to fill in some gaps in your Pagan or magical education and understanding, or discover it as a new interest and path. We will cover a brief historical overview, energy work, elements, tools, colors, Sabbat holidays, lunar rituals, healing methods with guest speakers, and dieties from around the world!

Date & Time: Sundays 6-9pm starting January 26th

Location: ZOOM and occasionally in-person at Maison O The LaSalle

Cost: $150 per trimester (3 payments, once every 6 weeks for a total of 3 payments equaling $450)

Includes: a workbook with the notes for each trimester as a PDF emailed after each payment
